Our tour begins with the pick-up of our guests from their hotels with our company vehicles around 09:30 / 09:45 in the morning. Throughout the tour, our licensed guide accredited by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture accompanies our guests and provides information about the region. The tour route is determined based on the locations of our guests' hotels. To avoid any time loss, the route is determined by our guide according to the hotel pick-up times and locations, and our guests are informed about this matter at the beginning of the tour.
Our tour starts with a visit to the Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest and most famous underground cities in the Cappadocia region. The underground cities in Cappadocia include historical structures built in the unique geography of the region. These cities are typically deep underground complexes created by carving into soft tuff rocks. Cappadocia's underground cities were created by the people in the region to avoid past wars, protect against invasions, or find a secure refuge against natural disasters.
After our visit to the Kaymaklı underground city, we move towards the famous valley of Güvercinlik Vadisi (Pigeon Valley). After taking wonderful photos of the valley and pigeon houses in Güvercinlik Vadisi, our next stop is the Uçhisar area. We enjoy the unique view of Uçhisar Castle, then head to Göreme and take a lunch break there. After lunch, we visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will see many cave churches with wonderfully preserved frescoes that date back to the early Christian period during the time of the Roman Empire. Our guide will provide information about each church.
After our visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, we move to the Avanos region via the Kızılırmak River, which enriches the region both naturally and culturally. Here, we visit a pottery workshop built within an old underground city. We have the chance to watch and try the traditional pottery art at a large underground city store.
At the end of the tour, we drop off our guests at their hotels.
In group tours, the maximum number of participants is 10.
During the tour, guests are responsible for covering the entrance fees to the historical sites. At the entrances of these historical sites, tickets can be obtained with the assistance of our guides.
