Throughout the tour, our guests are accompanied by our licensed guide from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, who provides information about the region.<\/p><p>Our first stop is the Mustafapasa region. Mustafapasa was the largest city inhabited by Greeks in Cappadocia before the population exchange between Greeks and Turks in 1924. Here you can see old Greek houses, churches, madrassas and theological faculties.<\/p><p>After our visit to Mustafapasa we head to Keslik Monastery. Inside the monastery you can see wall paintings and frescoes dating back to the Byzantine period.<\/p><p>Our next stop is Sahinefendi. Here we will visit the excavation area of \u200b\u200bthe ancient city of Sobesos. In the region, where archaeologists are still excavating, you can see Roman baths, burial sites, basilicas and mosaics.<\/p><p>After Sahinefendi we head to the underground city of Kaymakli. Kaymakli is one of the largest and most important underground cities in the region. The city\u2019s history dates back to around 3000 BC, beginning with the Hittites and continuing to host local populations during Roman and Byzantine times. After the underground city of Kaymakli we continue to the Soganli valley.<\/p><p>Soganli is the third largest monastic center in the region and has numerous church caves and hiking trails.
